On Becoming Fashionable

On becoming a fashionable man in the modern world: The trials and tribulations of a college student upgrading his wardrobe

Love all these looks. Too bad the article is in French so I can’t read it…

Electric blue. My favorite new style.

Want: Bright parka. Need: $250.

Sick jacket, a lot like a Perry Ellis one I really wanted but couldn’t afford. Of course, I can’t afford this one either right now…sigh.

Sick jacket. Looks beat up and old school. I want to buy this brand new but own it long enough that it gets that kind of character.

Few new things ordered

Got this shirt from Perry Ellis, final sale so it was only like $25.

Also got these shorts from J. Crew, also final sale so they were $38.

Lastly, I finally got the Armani Exchange Chambray Wing Shirt  I’ve been looking at for a long time. And because it was final sale, it was only $57.

In other words, go sales shopping at the end of the season!!! I’ve gotten retarded good deals on stuff (check out my $23 pants AND shoes here), and basically turned my entire wardrobe around without having to spend much money, and all the stuff I’ve bought is still gonna be wearable for many years. Then, when new fashions come out, I can just buy a couple pieces for that season, still be fairly in fashion, but also have a lot of established oldie-but-goodie pieces.
